Absence

I have been absent since October and I wanted to explain. Throughout my entire life I have been suffering from endometriosis but I didn't get the diagnosis until two years ago (34). I tried every birth control and nothing helped. We came to the conclusion to have my tubes removed (35) and it didn't help. It wasn't until the end of September 2024, that I had a complete Hysterectomy with both of my ovaries removed. (36)

The decision to live a pain free life lead to a immediate change in my body. I was thrown into instant menopause and I recently learned the Hormone Replacement Therapy I was on was causing my body to swell. (37)

It has been hard to balance the physical, mental, and overall changes. Writing has been a comfort but publishing and promoting took a back seat. I am slowly getting back in the goove and will continue to find my new normal.
